Manchester City already have one foot in the quarter-finals of the Champions League as they prepare to host FC Basel in the second leg of their round of 16 tie on Wednesday night.

City hammered their Swiss hosts 4-0 in the first leg, thanks to a brace from Ilkay Gundogan and a goal each from Bernardo Silva and Sergio Aguero.

It seems an impossible task for Basel to come back from that deficit at the Etihad, where City have not lost in the Premier League all season.

Basel may be hoping that Pep Guardiola would rest some players, but as the Cityzens are not back in Premier League action until Monday, he really has no need to.
